Join Sidel, a global leader in food, beverage, and personal care packaging solutions, as a Field Service Technician. You will be trained and supported to master high-tech equipment deployed at major industrial clients in France and abroad.

Your Mission

- Install, commission and test Sidel equipment, including single machines and complete production lines, including both rotary and linear machines, on customer sites.
- Intervene on new equipment as well as existing installed bases, mainly across Europe, but also outside Europe when required.
- Troubleshoot, prevent and adopt corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and automated machines within high-speed production lines, including start-up missions, breakdown support, functional analysis and anomaly identification.
- Execute precise technical diagnostics, share feedback with internal support teams and propose corrective actions.
- Administrate equipment upgrades and optimisation, including hardware and software updates.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Train and empower client operators and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient equipment handling.
- Report after-sales opportunities detected on customer site.
- Comply fully with Sidel and client safety rules, with clear communications throughout interventions.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports in English or French following each intervention.

Your Profile

Technical degree (automation, mechatronics, electrotechnics, industrial maintenance...)

- Strong technical curiosity and eagerness to learn continuously
- Field experience preferred or strong motivation to learn on the job
- Fluent in English, essential for working in a multicultural team
- Willingness to travel extensively (often >80% of the time) and adapt to different international environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset
